Grille's GM Among Award Finalists

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Finalists have been announced for the inaugural Impeccable Customer Experience (I.C.E.) Awards, a new awards program organized by the Hospitality Partnership to recognize and celebrate individuals and businesses that provide excellent customer service. The I.C.E. Awards will take place from 6-10pm on Thursday, Jan. 18, at the House of Blues at Barefoot Landing.

"The I.C.E. Awards will be a major awards show like nothing the Myrtle Beach area has seen before," said Diana Greene, vice president of membership for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Hospitality Partnership. "Our goals are to heighten customer service on the Grand Strand by honoring those who are excellent customer-service leaders and to bring recognition to the importance of incomparable customer service."

The finalists in the restaurant and pub category include Peter Dombroski, Greg Norman's Australian Grille; David McMillan, Drunken Jack's; Jennifer Pendleton, Arby's. Professional - Dr. Wayne Bauerle, Strand Orthopaedic Consultants; Juliet Casper, Newby, Sartip, Masel & Casper, LLC; Bill Gasque, New York Life.

The I.C.E Awards are presented by Understanding Corporation, HTC Communications, Time Warner Cable, WBTW News 13, WRNN 99.5 FM, A-1 Wireless, SunCom, Southern Wine & Spirits, The Jackson Companies, South Carolina Bank and Trust, Island Vista, A&D Tile & Grout Restoration, Carolina Cooling & Plumbing Inc., Johnson Controls Inc. and the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Partnership, which includes the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association, the Hospitality Association of South Carolina and the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
